This past weekend felt like such an honor—getting to witness five of the fourteen yoga teacher trainee finals at Lifted Lotus Yoga Collective.

Each one so beautifully unique, heartfelt, and full of intention. There’s something incredibly special about being invited into that moment… where study meets soul, where nerves soften into presence, and where a new teacher steps forward and shares something deeply their own.

Every class carried its own rhythm, its own voice, its own unique quiet magic. You could feel the care, the courage, and devotion woven into every sequence, every word, every pause.

I’m so grateful to have been there to receive these offerings—to witness the growth, the vulnerability, and the love poured into each practice.

What a privilege to share space for this kind of becoming. 🤍✨

There’s something about a Spring New Moon that invites a quieter kind of beginning.

Not rushed. Not forced.
Just a steady return to what matters.

This week, we’re working with that energy—slowing things way down, and giving the body space to reset and listen. Even with all the heightened energy of this season, we don’t have to match it with intensity.

Sometimes the most powerful way to begin again… is softly.

Inspired by these baby eagles we reflected on in class last Friday—growth doesn’t happen all at once. It’s built in small, steady moments of support, rest, and courage. I'm learning to be like a baby eagle, come join me::

Supporting strength and balance… even when the body doesn’t fully agree.

This week’s practice is about meeting yourself where you are—building stability, exploring balance, and honoring all the systems working behind the scenes (because sometimes they’re not exactly on the same page).

That’s where I’m practicing from this week too. You’re not alone in it.

Not everything in the body agrees.

Some systems want movement.
Some need stillness.
Some are asking to be pushed… while others need to be supported.

And somehow, we learn to listen to all of it.

Legs up the wall.
Nervous system settling.
Circulation supported.
Life (and the mess) still happening around us.

Not perfect. Just real.

Important info from the Lifted Team 🙏🏼

Big changes are happening at Lifted Lotus Yoga Collective…

After a lot of reflection, growth, and looking at the future of the studio, we’ve decided to move away from our donation-based model.

Starting this April, we will be transitioning to a membership-based structure of $120/month for unlimited classes.

This wasn’t an easy decision—but as we continue to expand, support our teachers, and elevate the space, we felt it was time to align with a more traditional studio model.

We are so grateful for every single one of you who has supported Lifted along the way. Your presence has built this community into what it is today.

Spring is arriving… and you can feel it 🌷✨

This week, we welcome the Spring Equinox—a moment of perfect balance between light and dark, a gentle turning point into growth, renewal, and possibility. In both of my Thursday + Friday morning classes, we’ll be honoring this transition with intention, breath, and movement… creating space to emerge from winter and step into something new.

And I’m especially excited for something extra special this week 💜

In collaboration with the Lifted Lotus Yoga team, we’ll be guiding our Spring Mala 108 Meditation Experience—a beautiful community offering centered around breath, intention, and connection.

Together, we’ll move, breathe, and reflect in a meaningful way to align with the energy of the season, reconnect to yourself, and share in community 💫

There’s a quiet ritual that happens before anyone else walks through the door at any studio or yoga space. As you can see from this space we set at Snipes H3:

Lights set.
Music chosen.
Candles flickering to life.
The room slowly softening into a place where people can land.

Sequencing the Asana(movement) is only one piece of guiding yoga. What matters just as much is the space around it — the atmosphere that lets shoulders drop, breath deepen, and nervous systems settle.

Creating that space is one of my favorite parts.
A small act of care that says: you can arrive exactly as you are.

There’s a difference between stretching a muscle... and giving your nervous system space to breathe.

Lately in our Thursday + Friday morning classes, we’ve been practicing **nerve flossing** — slow, intentional movements that gently mobilize the nerves instead of forcing flexibility.

It’s subtle. It’s intelligent. It’s powerful.

When nerves get irritated or compressed (hello desk work, stress, inflammation, long drives), they don’t need to be yanked on — they need rhythm. Glide. Circulation.

We’re exploring:
✨ sciatic nerve mobility
✨ gentle shoulder + wrist flossing
✨ hamstring relief without aggressive stretching
✨ movement that supports, not overwhelms

If your body has been feeling tight in a way that stretching doesn’t fix… Come move your nervous system. Your body will thank you::

What if the strongest thing you did this week…
was slow down?

Tomorrow I’ll be popping up at Gold's Gym - Richland to teach a Fusion Chair/Gentle GGX Yoga class and this class is for every body.

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to “be good at yoga.”

You just need a body that could use:
• more mobility
• more breath
• less tension
• a softer landing in your day

Chair/Gentle yoga isn’t “less than.”
It’s intentional. It’s strengthening. It’s accessible.
And sometimes it’s exactly what your nervous system has been asking for.

This week I had the honor of leading yoga to the high school students exploring the Tri-Tech Pre-Physical Therapy program at Tri-Tech Skills Center where we practiced seated wild thing — a shape that asks us to open, even when it feels vulnerable — and we talked about something simple:

"You already have everything you need."

Not in a “life is easy” way.
Not in a bypass-the-hard-stuff way.

But in the quiet, steady truth that your breath is still here.
Your body is still carrying you.
Your heart still knows how to open.

Sometimes we just need space to remember.

Join us this week at Lifted Lotus Yoga where we’ll move gently, open the front body, breathe into the places that feel tight, and create space to practice trusting ourselves again — even if just a little.

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be calm.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.

Just come as you are.
