First day in our new space in Richland, WA!
I wake and ask myself what do I need to be well today? How do I honor all three parts of myself- mind, body, and spirit?
My body is wrecked after the push to move. Iβm covered in bruises, my eyes are swollen, all my joints and tendons hurt, and the brain fog is REAL π€¦ββοΈ I hate knowing so many of you are on a similar boat, and that doctors arenβt helping you. But we canβt give up. We can help ourselves! We can encourage each other!

Today, for my body I opted for some gentle yoga and stretching. I also had some green tea and granola.
For my spirit I opened my Bible and connected to my higher power, Jesus. I just opened the Bible App and the scripture was perfect π I spent time in prayer as I moved through my yoga practice.
For my mind, I got out in the grass and connected with the new earth that brings me such joy. I practiced mindfulness as I pressed my feet into the grass and mediated on the feel of each plush, cold, bade under my toes.
To finish off this morning act of self-care, I practiced final relaxation. I lay in the grass with my sweet dogs and gazed up at the beautiful sky as I continued to mediate on the scripture
Colossians 3:1 " If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.β
Then I gave space to receive what my good God has for me today.
In all I spent maybe 20min, but what a difference I have going out to tackle the million tasks of the day! Please share how you honor your mind, body, or spirit every day!
