that the holidays can bring air quality risks for pregnant women and babies in Virginia? When we spend more time indoors, things like fireplaces, scented candles, and cooking can fill the air with tiny particles that aren’t good for infant lungs. These pollutants can make breathing harder and even affect pregnancy health.

Be sure to crack a window after cooking, use your stove’s exhaust fan, and try battery-operated candles instead of real ones.
