Learning to love who I am means no longer sitting at tables where I’m expected to conform just to belong.

I’ve spent enough time trying to soften my edges, quiet my voice, or reshape myself to fit someone else’s standards. The truth is — the right spaces don’t ask you to become less of yourself. They make room for who you already are.

So I’m choosing authenticity over acceptance, peace over approval, and purpose over pretending.

If I don’t fit anymore, it’s not rejection… it’s alignment.

✨ Have you ever outgrown a table you once tried so hard to belong at? Share below — I’d love to hear your experience.

I just heard my grief speak.

I didn’t know I was documenting the worst version of myself.

One month after losing him, I created this sequence for Joe.

I pressed record.
I sent a message.
And then I never listened to it again.

Today I did.

And it took my breath away.

Where are you today?

Each week, I’m creating a gentle space to pause, breathe, and check in with ourselves—without pressure, without judgment, just honesty.
Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do in the middle of a busy week… is simply notice how we’re feeling.

So tell me—
Are you grounded?
Overwhelmed?
Hopeful?
Healing?
Still figuring it out?

Wherever you are is welcome here. šŸ¤

Drop a word, an emoji, or a quick thought in the comments to check in.
And if someone you love could use a mindful pause today, share this with them so they know they’re not alone.

I choose practices that bring balance between the inside and the outside.
The body learns. The breath follows.
Each time, I stay a little longer.

If your body needs balance today, this is your reminder.

30 seconds. That’s it.

Inhale for 3
Hold for 3
Exhale for 3
Hold for 3

This breath is a reset.
A pause for your nervous system.
A reminder that you don’t need to fix everything—just come back to the moment you’re in.

When life feels loud, heavy, or rushed, this is how I soften back into myself.
One square breath at a time.

Save this.
Come back when you need grounding.
Breathe with me.

Sometimes the body needs to turn upside down so the mind can settle.

Inversions aren’t about being ā€œadvancedā€ or pushing limits.
They’re about perspective, regulation, and trust.

When we invert the body:
• Blood flow gently shifts back toward the heart and brain
• The nervous system receives a signal to slow down
• The breath naturally deepens
• Focus sharpens and the noise quiets

Inversions help reset the nervous system.
They invite calm where there’s been overwhelm. Clarity where there’s been heaviness.
A pause where life has felt loud.

There’s also something powerful about seeing the world differently—
even just for a moment.
Being upside down reminds us that not everything needs fixing…
sometimes it just needs a new angle.

This practice feels so aligned for me because it mirrors where I am in life.
Choosing presence over control.
Finding strength in stillness.
Learning to trust my body, my breath, and the moment I’m in—
even when it feels unfamiliar.

I’m not escaping discomfort here.
I’m meeting it calmly.
Grounded.
Breathing.

If you’ve been feeling off balance lately,
maybe the answer isn’t doing more—
maybe it’s simply seeing things differently.

I saw Joe in my dreams again last night.

That familiar, reoccurring one I keep having—still just out of reach when I wake up.
But this time, I remember seeing him.

I woke up with purpose.

I knew it was time to return to my snow and cold meditation, back to the creek, back to my mat.

Eleven minutes today—three more than last year.
With every practice, I feel myself growing stronger… not just in my body, but in my trust.

I felt him with me there.
In the stillness.
In the breath.
In the quiet strength it took to stay.

And then, on the adventure that followed, a bright red cardinal appeared.
In that moment, I didn’t question it.
I just knew.

He was there—watching, guiding, reminding me that I’m never walking this path alone.
Strength comes. Purpose rises.
And love finds its way to meet us—right where we are.

Purpose reveals itself when we trust the guidance around us.

If you’re feeling called to listen more deeply, send me a message

—I’d love to walk alongside you.

In the quiet of winter, one bright moment reminded me—
stillness reveals what searching never could.

In that stillness, I remembered my purpose.

There’s just something about being that close to a cardinal.

ā€œThe answers you are looking for are in the silence you’re avoidingā€
