Our THRN partners were out yesterday for Richmond & Henrico Health Districts - RHHD Adolescent Health Team’s Health Jam at John Marshall High School! 🎉

This is an interactive health fair for Richmond high school students, where local organizations come together to share resources, activities, and education around health and wellness.

There will be four Health Jams this month at schools across the city, creating more opportunities for students to learn, connect, and engage.

Follow them to learn more and see where the next Health Jam will pop up!

A place where skills are built and mentorship matters. 🥊

Our THRN partner East End Boxing Club is opening enrollment for their Beginner Boxing Class, and all ages are welcome.

More than boxing, this program focuses on fundamentals, discipline, confidence, and mentorship. East End Boxing Club has helped so many youth in our community develop skills in the ring while gaining guidance and support outside of it.

If you’ve been looking for a positive space to train, learn, and grow, this could be a great opportunity!

While we work to support those in our community who are affected by firearm injuries and find ways to help prevent them, we also know that not all trauma comes from one big event.

Sometimes it grows from the stress of not having what people need, stable housing, access to food, safe spaces for youth, or mental health support.

When basic needs go unmet, that pressure can build over time and impact how people move through the world. That’s why resources matter so much.

Across our network, organizations are showing up every day to provide mentorship, safe spaces, support programs, and opportunities that help people feel seen, supported, and connected. 🤝🏾

Because when communities have access to the resources they need, healing, resilience, and hope can grow. 🌱

Sometimes the first step toward healing is just knowing support exists.
