Hearts & Hugs Academy is the perfect daycare!🩷🌱☀️..There's just one problem.

It's run by an imperfect person.

My vision is absolutely beautiful... But reality hurts.

In November, I completely forgot to tell parents that we were closed on Black Friday, and someone showed up with no one there -not even a note on the door!

In December, I sent a child home in the same diaper she came in!😱😭 How could that possibly happen???

These are just two ways I have spaced things in the past few months, and I feel ok sharing them with you because it's what's true.

I don't need to hide the truth, I just need to learn from it.

The actual truth is:
🩵I have never worked 55+ hours a week in my life, and it's definitely caught up to me (Christmas break was a dream!)
🤍 It's not ok for my lack of self care to negatively affect others
💚I care deeply about being kind and loving to your children
🩶I stink at potty training!!!
💛I'm trying
💜 I'm never going to be the perfect childcare provider that I see in my mind
🧡I'm grateful for this opportunity and all the sweet kids I get to play with
🩷The business side of things takes more time than I thought it would
❤️I'm tired
💙I have amazing helpers
🤎I have a new plan going forward and am excited to start getting some time off to rejuvenate myself🪷
