Last year, my friend bought this quilt top at an estate sale. It was made by a late coworker of his. He asked me if I could clean it up and finish the quilt. Once I got a good look at it, I realized it was puckered, out of square, and the inexpensive fabric was shredding. There was no way it would be able to be put on a long arm. I took the whole quilt apart. Squared up the blue pieces and put it back together with a quality white fabric. It turned out beautiful. What a lovely reminder of a lost friend.
