A lot of dairy have added sugars like yogurt, cottage cheese, and sour cream. I know from reading labels for months when I first had diabetes. I've been non diabetic now for around 5 years, and have still not found a yogurt without added sugars or chemicals.
“Reduced fat” peanut butter? “Enriched” flour? Sure, those sound healthy, but the poor nutrient quality of so many “health” foods has been masterfully obscured by clever advertising. 🧐
Your best bet when trying to eat healthy is to consume unrefined whole foods. Advertising confuses the issue of nutrition when it comes to processed food, making unsubstantiated health claims to sell a product.
