The Real Cost of Inaction 💥

In 15 years of coaching, I’ve heard every excuse for why you’re “not important enough” to prioritize your health.

Yes… I woke up this morning and chose violence. 😤

“When the kids go back to school…”
“After things slow down…”
“After this holiday…this vacation…”

Here’s the truth: there is never a good time. Life will always be hectic. The kids will always need something. And yes, I hope you continue to take vacations and celebrate life — you should. 🎉

But the reality? Those are all excuses. And while you wait, you pay the price. Your energy, your health, your confidence… your children, your spouse, your family all feel it when you aren’t operating at your highest self.

I get it. Everyone needs you. But ask yourself:

Perimenopause isn’t something I’m watching from the sidelines — I’m right in the thick of it with you.
And let me tell you… the wrong advice can make this season feel 10x harder than it needs to be.

For years we were told:
👉 “Just eat less.”
👉 “Train harder.”
👉 “Fasting fixes everything.”
👉 “Snack every 2–3 hours.”
👉 “Push through the exhaustion.”

But here’s the truth most women NEVER hear:
Your perimenopausal body is not failing you — it’s responding to the stress you’re putting it under.

When you’re under-eating, skipping meals, over-training, or constantly “pushing harder,” you’re not building a healthier metabolism…
You’re teaching your body to slow down.

You’re teaching it to conserve.
To hold onto fat.
To stay inflamed.
To feel exhausted.
To crave sugar.
To wake up at 2am.
To bloat after everything.

Not because you’re doing something wrong —

Most women overcomplicate getting results…
But the real trap?

We massively overcomplicate keeping them.

And THAT is why so many women lose weight → only to gain it all back.
Why energy improves for a few weeks → then crashes again.
Why hormones feel balanced… until stress hits.

It’s not because you’re doing anything “wrong.”

It’s because your default setting never changed.

Read that again. 👀

You don’t get long-term results from:
✖️ another strict challenge
✖️ another detox
✖️ another low-cal plan
✖️ grinding harder
✖️ doing “all the things”

You get long-term results by building a default rhythm your body can actually sustain.

Because the truth?

Your current “default” is what created your current outcome.

Years of:
• skipping meals
• eating too little
• relying on coffee instead of food
• chronic stress
• poor sleep
• on/off workout routines
• survival-mode living

…slowly created the weight gain, fatigue, hormone issues, and plateaus.

Not overnight.
But bit by bit.

And when you try to fix those problems with short-term intensity?
You might get quick results…
But you also rebound.

Not because you failed.

Here’s what ACTUALLY works:

Build a default routine that’s so simple, so repeatable, and so aligned with your life that you can fall off… and slide RIGHT back into it.

A default day.
A default meal rotation.
A default sleep rhythm.
A default stress + recovery routine.

Start with ONE day each week where:
✔️ your protein is on point
✔️ meals are consistent
✔️ steps are hit
✔️ hydration is solid
✔️ sleep is prioritized

Save it.
Repeat it.
Return to it whenever life gets messy.

Do that often enough, and you build a library of effortless habits that carry your results LONG after motivation fades.
