When David walked into OTF Greenville just two months ago, he was ready for more. More strength. More energy. More Life.

At 40, he hadn’t worked out consistently since college. But he knew it was time to make a change — not just for himself, but for his family. Now, those 5 a.m. classes have become his foundation, his reset, and his proof that it’s never too late to start again.

"I’ve seen real improvements, I’m getting faster, stronger, and feeling better overall. My body has been used and abused over the years with multiple surgeries and broken bones, but this program has significantly improved both my mental and physical health. · What brought you to OTF?
What brought me to OTF was the need for a coach-oriented training environment. I attended Burn Boot Camp and loved the coached sessions there, but since they shut down, OTF was the best fit I found to get that guided workout style.
· What is a goal you have for the future with coming to OTF?
My goal is to continue to work out every day to achieve body recomposition (fat loss and muscle gain).
· If you could give a new member advice what would it be?
Commit to the class; it’s a step you won’t regret. Block out the distractions and tune in only to your coach. Challenge yourself; you’re capable of a heavier lift.
· How would you describe OTF in one word?
EFFICIENT
· What is your favorite OTF floor exercise?
Deadlifts
· What is your favorite thing to do outside OTF?
Cooking, Gardening, Spending time with friends and family.

The New York Times calls Orangetheory Fitness “the best one-hour workout in the country.” Founded in 2007 by Ellen Latham, our heart rate based interval training workouts are designed to help you reach your fitness goals. Whether you’re a trained athlete, getting back into the gym after a break or starting your fitness journey for the first time, our coaches are dedicated to helping you achieve success. Backed by the science of Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (or EPOC), Orangetheory’s heart rate monitored training is designed to maintain a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. We call it the afterburn. Our members burn an estimated 500 to 1,000 calories in 60 minutes. And keep burning calories for up to 36 hours.
