Our Inspiritás residents recently enjoyed a meaningful excursion to the Harrison Museum of African American Culture in Roanoke. During their visit, they explored powerful exhibits highlighting the rich heritage and lasting impact of prominent pioneers, including educator and community leader Lucy Addison.

The outing provided a wonderful opportunity to deepen their understanding of local history, enrich their lives through cultural learning, and show support for an organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating African American history within the community.

Our Inspiritás-Memory Care residents recently enjoyed a wonderful excursion to the O. Winston Link Museum. Residents explored the rich history of the railroad and took in a fascinating side exhibit highlighting moments from the past. From dressing up for fun photo opportunities to admiring the unique artifacts on display, everyone had a memorable and engaging experience.

Snow can't stop the fun at Woodland Hills! During the recent snow storms, our residents gathered round the tables and relied on some classic fun with spirited rounds of their favorite board games. It's heartwarming to see friendships deepen over a shared love for classic pastimes. Who knew a snowy day could bring so much joy indoors? ☃️🏠

Our Inspiritás-Memory Care residents had a wonderful time during Casino Night. The room was filled with excitement as residents tried their luck at the games and cheered each other on. 🎰

Everyone enjoyed winning and bidding on a variety of fun auction prizes. Laughter and friendly competition made the evening extra special.

Capturing moments, creating memories! Steve Vest's photography presentation wowed us with his images, from his breathtaking local landscapes and fauna, to cityscapes and heartwarming portraits each photo told us a unique story. We were inspired by Steve's talent and photography tips!

Woodland Hills' Inspiritás-Memory Care residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with stories and musical entertainment from our talented Elvis performer. The event celebrated Elvis Presley on his birthday in true rock ’n’ roll style. Residents sang along and reminisced while enjoying the classic hits they know and love. The energy and nostalgia brought smiles throughout the room. It was a wonderful tribute to the one and only King of Rock ’n’ Roll.
