Laney's Love

Today, Laney delivered (what may be her last batch of) blankets to the NICU at North Memorial! She brought 66 blankets and was able to see and love two babies! Laney’s Love activities will slow down now that she’s off to college to study nursing. Maybe she’ll find herself working in the NICU again one day!

Shout out to Grandma Miriam Ebeling for her amazing sewing for the past 11 years!

Laney was able to deliver 15 more blankets today! It’s already our second visit this summer! She was also able to hold and love Ollie ❤️

Laney delivered over 30 blankets to the NICU last week! She was able to meet a couple babies and their parents. We hope to be back in just a month or so with more to deliver!

Laney was able to deliver 2 bags of blankets to babies over the weekend - Her blankets were cheerful, spring-inspired colors to brighten up the NICU!

The NICU was full of babies today, and Laney was able to distribute almost 20 blankets with the help of one of her favorite nurses, Diana. One of the babies even opened his eyes to stare at her as we walked by! Thanks, Grandma Miriam, for your help!

Today, Laney delivered 35 more blankets to the NICU for a total of 271 to date!! She is only 29 away from her goal of 300 delivered blankets!!

Today, we were so lucky to visit the NICU and meet our newest Birdtown friend, Quinn! She's a beautiful baby, and we can't wait for her to go home and snuggle with her mom and dad, and her new blanket!

We were also able to meet three other babies and their moms and dads, which is always fun!!

Today Delaney delivered her 100th blanket (and then some) to the babies in the NICU in 2013. She made a goal and she did it - what a star!

Laney delivered another batch of blankets today - She even got to meet the parents of a baby! We hope to meet our goal by delivering 15 more blankets by December 31...
