Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Billing, Collections, and Reprocessor to join our administrative team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing medical claims, collecting outstanding balances, reprocessing denied claims, and using billing software and Microsoft programs to support the revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect outstanding medical debt in a professional and respectful manner
Reprocess denied or rejected insurance claims
Monitor and follow up on unpaid claims and accounts
Use billing software to manage claims and patient records
Work with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs to track collections and generate reports
Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing issues
Qualifications:
Experience with medical billing and insurance collections
Familiarity with billing/revenue cycle software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in behavioral health or similar healthcare setting
Knowledge of claim denial reasons and resubmission processes
