Dixie finished her week long therapy intensive at Shriners strong. Now we we are headed home to work really hard for 2 months before we go back at the beginning of June.
Please pray that she gets stronger with sit to standing, standing, and taking steps in her gait trainer. We are also praying that she works on straightening her back and holding up her head.
Thank you so much for all your prayers this week. They were greatly felt by us all.

Day 4 of Dixie’s therapy intensive. She worked really hard today and is getting stronger. I was advised to order her a special vest to give her trunk more support.
We are grateful the time here, but also glad it has gone fast. We are ready to go home tomorrow after a full day of therapies.

Day 3 of therapies is over besides rec therapy, which is extra fun.
Dixie worked really hard today. She just needs to work on standing up straighter and holding up her head.
She also had a hearing test done, which found some minor hearing loss, but nothing great enough to have to do anything.
Please continue to pray with us that we make the most of the last 2 days we have here.

Dixie’s second day of therapy went really well. She is making a lot of progress.
Please keep her in your prayers as she has started to miss her dad and siblings back home.

Dixie had a great first day at her therapy intensive at Shriners! Please continue to pray that she works hard the rest of the week.

Dixie just had her evaluation at The Magical Meadows in Warsaw and loved it! She can’t wait to start riding every week for 6 weeks starting in April.

Dixie is getting ready to do another physical therapy and occupational intensive next week. If you would like to help with any of the cost of the one week intensive we would greatly appreciate it.

We are doing our best to try and take care of everything ourselves. But if we are being honest we could use a little help. Thanks to whoever feels lead to give or help us figure out things.

We are still trying to sell Dixie’s old gait trainer. It is a size small and we are asking $1,500. It originally cost around $4,500. Nothing is wrong with it. She has just out grown it.

Dixie has been still working hard during Christmas break. She has been standing almost everyday.
Today she did 3 hours in her standing frame. Then she got her new gait trainer and took some steps in it. To finish off the day she army crawled all the way to her bedroom and did some more crawling after that.
Please continue to pray that she is motivated to keep working hard at home, as going to outside therapies hasn’t been possible yet.
