Disability Pride Month starts today, and this year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)!!

The Disability Pride flag is a powerful symbol of unity and acceptance, with each color representing a different aspect of the disability community:

* Red: Physical Disabilities
* Yellow/Gold: Neurodiversity
* White: Invisible and undiagnosed disabilities
* Blue: Emotional and psychiatric disabilities
* Green: Sensory disabilities, including visual, hearing, and other sensory impairments

The black border surrounding the stripes stands in remembrance of disabled individuals lost to ableism, violence, and abuse.
