Our junior class had the greatest time in Albany on Advocacy Day (3/5)! We had the opportunity to meet with assemblymen and senators in the capitol to advocate on issues within our profession, such as increasing reimbursement for early intervention providers and establishing coverage of OTA services in worker’s compensation. It was an incredible learning experience and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity. Thank you to our club officers for the planning that went into the day. And thank you so much to the Bryant & Stratton OTA students who joined us on this important mission!!
A special shoutout goes to Dr. P who puts much time, energy, and love into putting this together year after year, and supporting us through the entire 16-hour day. A perfect example of the dedication and passion our lovely faculty members put into our program to make us extremely well-prepared & informed professionals. ❤️🥰

Because of my committee meetings, I missed the Nazareth College Occupational Therapy students BUT fate was on my side ... I got to the Assembly Chamber be found them getting some great pictures Had short but wonderful visit. Hopefully, we will visit them in the District.

What a great turnout today at the ! This walk helped raise awareness for and celebrate the Special Olympics by encouraging people of all abilities to reach their goals through physical engagement! Thanks to all of our lovely club members and professors who walked. We love our fam.
