Custom Touch Tile & Stone LLC "Giving your home that 'Custom Touch' one project at a time"

Give us a call for your next project! Michelle 803-517-2292
Erik (803) 487-2948

I, Michelle, grew up as a contractor's daughter and have a wealth of experience and knowledge of the process of building a home from the ground up. I started working with tile in 1994 when my dad decided that we could learn to set our own tile in the houses we were building. Around 1996, after my dad retired for health reasons, I began to work small tile jobs for people we knew through the business. And by 1997, "Classic Tile" was born. I went off to college from '96-'99 and then returned to the area and picked up the business from 2000-2006, working primarily with new construction projects for builders in the area. I have done many things from 2006 until now, including tile installation for friends and family when I have had the time. It's fun to now get back to an industry I know well! Erik grew up overseas as a missionary kid and has always been especially handy. He has worked for me in the past before heading to the mission field himself. Erik has built two houses overseas and understands the process and the details that make every job successful. He has experience with every aspect of building a home. He and his family are now back in the area and I couldn't think of a better business partner! We are excited to be working together again as Custom Touch Tile & Stone LLC, and we hope that you will call us to quote your next tile or stone job, whether you are a contractor or an individual who wants to create a custom look for your home. We look forward to meeting you!

We also did this shower for the same folks - they tore out the previously tiled shower and we rebuilt it. This pic is not the fully finished product. Erik has some photos so I need to get them from him. Anyway, here’s an “in progress” photo.

New Corian countertop, under mount sink installed and tile backsplash installed over the last couple of days... it’s always a bit more complicated than HGTV would have you believe, and I enjoy those shows too!, but the homeowner was without kitchen sink and dishwasher for 48 hours. Don’t let the home improvement shows fool you - there is a bit of sacrifice on your part. But, it’s worth it! 😉

Hey! Since I am actually on FB now and actually remembered to take some photos this week - here’s one part of a project list we completed in photos!

We also changed the front door k**b, fixed a leak (hopefully) over the laundry room - behind this door, inspected under the house and stopped a refrig water line leak, inspected under a tub and caulked tile in front of said tub, and put in an over the stove micro. If you’ve got projects, we have solutions. Message us or call us and leave a message. (Rock Hill, York, Fort Mill, South Charlotte)

Erik and I stopped in to see one of our amazing previous clients yesterday and got some “after” pics while we were there. We removed the popcorn ceiling and carpets, put down pre-finished nail down hardwood and painted - essentially switched the dining room to a siting room and the formal living room to a dining room. There were major structural flooring issues that came up during the process which extended the project, but we know some good people who fixed that too.

So no matter what your project is, if we don’t or can’t do it (b/c of insurance), we will hook you up with the best people to help you through it. Just give us a call.

So, this is at my place... thought it would be a quick pressure wash and repaint ... not so much. As usual I forgot to get the pre-demolition picture, but here’s the cut off post and patch once we removed the rail so we could get to it. I was so surprised and so busy digging out the rot that I forgot to take the ugly photos!

Our encouragement to you busy homeowners out there is: we do this for a living and I didn’t expect this, stuff happens, so give you yourself a break, but call someone sooner than later.

And secondly, always expect there to be more going on than you might be able to see at the outset - free advice 😉.

Once I sand it, prime it up and paint it, you’ll never know it happened.

Thanks for following us and recommending us for all of your home repair needs - we appreciate you!
