⚽️⚾️ With spring sports in full swing, let's talk about mouthguards! They are essential for protecting your child's teeth during sports activities.
Any sport with a risk of contact to the face or head can lead to dental injuries such as chipped, cracked, or knocked-out teeth, as well as injuries to the lips, cheeks, tongue, and jaw.
Contact Sports: Football, basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, martial arts, and boxing have a high risk of impact.
If your child needs a mouth guard, be sure to ask about it at your next appointment.
