Organized by the MaineHealth Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals Art Committee, this ongoing program features rotating exhibits that celebrate the region’s creativity and help foster a calming, healing environment for patients, visitors and care team members. We’re excited to offer Prenatal Care Education through Centering Pregnancy®
This program brings together small groups of five to 10 expecting people with similar due dates for routine prenatal care in a supportive group setting. The series of 10 two-hour group visits is led by a certified nurse midwife and registered nurse, combining prenatal visits with interactive education. Topics include newborn care, labor and childbirth, postpartum mood changes and more. Participants benefit from a strong support network, community connections and more time with their care team than traditional one-on-one visits.
