Growing up my life seemed normal...I enjoyed cheerleading, dance, church, school and living my life with no time to slow down. I began having severe headaches and pain and ultimately had brain surgery. My recovery from brain surgery took much longer than expected due to other serious medi
cal conditions that followed. I spent the next two years in and out of the hospital and was "homebound". It was during this time of homebound recovery that I learned though I was physically limited from doing the activities I once loved, my passion for art was allowed to develop. Sonshine Designs was started in September 2012. I still endure some chronic medical issues, however, I trust God has great plans for my life. My desire is to glorify Christ and "let my light shine... Matthew 5:16".
