Jungian Archetype: The Magician

Scorpio is associated with the Magician archetype. You have
the ability to rise from the ashes like a phoenix and transform.
Mystical and mysterious, it’s no wonder that you share similar
personality traits with the Magician. You have an interest in
metaphysical knowledge such as occultism, astrology, energy
healing, and other new age topics. There is a chance that you have
a connection to death and the other side. You might even have
mediumship abilities. You have a psychological understanding
of the cycles of life. Tapping into this powerful energy can help
you overcome traumatic and painful life experiences. There is
strength that lies deep within that you are able to tap into when
you need courage. You have a penetrating gaze that can peek
deep inside someone’s soul. Others are either drawn to you or

Tarot Card Archetype: Death
Scorpio is associated with the tarot card of Death. In astrology,
your sign is associated with the eighth house which is all about
death, rebirth, transformation, and healing. Death is symbolic
of change and when the Death card shows up it’s just giving
you a heads up. In the Death card you will see the image of a
skeleton riding a white horse. The white horse represents hope
and new life. In the distance you can see the sun rising again.
This symbolism is similar to the life of a Scorpio. Even though
you might struggle through dark times and cataclysmic changes
you come out of it stronger and more resilient.
Life is all about change and as a Scorpio you are a natural
when it comes to overcoming obstacles. You never give up! You
are a fierce fighter and a survivor. Death is all about endings
and also beginnings. Having to start over throughout your life
is a common pattern for Scorpios. You will experience different
cycles in your life where the person you were before is forever
gone. Rising up and allowing change in your life helps you focus
on the future. You are able to release and let go of old energy.
This includes people who might not be good for you. Once
you cut ties, then you don’t look back. Your power comes from
surrendering to the unknown and thriving on lasting change.

The 8th house was the first passion I developed as an astrologer. When I was 16 I did my birth chart for the first time in 1993 and realized that my Moon, Jupiter, Chiron, and Part of Fortune all in the 8th house was the very reason I felt different from other people. I was intense, emotional, deep, and only interested in meaningful conversations about spiritual topics. I was born this way.
Knowing more about the 8th house opened up my mind but it did not fully resonate with me. I began researching this house and collecting data, stories, and information to help my clients and in my work with trauma survivors.

I self-published my first book "The Mysteries of the Eighth House: Phoenix Rising based on an article I pubilshed and online feedback from clients from all over the world. They validated my research about the main patterns of the 8th house and how they play out in someone's life.
