Floyd Fit

Floyd Fit Floyd Fit is a comprehensive 12-week wellness challenge focusing on making improvements in total wellness.

Participants in the challenge will work with a personal trainer once a week, as well as with a team nutritionist and behavior modification specialist. Teams will work to achieve the ultimate goal of a healthy lifestyle by not only improving fitness but also learning about nutrition, positive mental health, relaxation methods and improving overall energy levels. Fourteen staff members have been chosen to compete in teams to see who can become the most fit. They will work weekly with trainers from seven different local workout centers, who will help them achieve their goals.

If you are at risk for type 2 diabetes or you have prediabetes you should know diabetes prevention is proven, possible, and powerful.

Studies show that people at high risk can prevent or delay onset of the disease by losing 7-10% of the their weight, if they are over weight. That's 10-14 pounds for a 200 pound person!

The two critical keys to success?

1. Atleast 30 mins of moderate intensity activity 5 days per week.

2. Eat a variety of foods that are low in fat and sugar and reduce the number of calories you eat per day.
