Dr. Tyler is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics, Division Chief of Musculoskeletal Oncology and Vice Chair of Equity and Inclusion for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center and Herbert Irving Cancer Institute. Through AAOS, she has built connections with many colleagues, and has found mentorship and friendship among peers.

She became interested in orthopaedics as it “is the perfect combination of hands-on work, problem solving, and the ability to make drastic improvements in patients' lives.”
As a student pursuing orthopaedic surgery at Florida State University College of Medicine, she was motivated to join by a combination of personal ambition, educational opportunity, and the desire to be part of an incredible community dedicated to advancing the field and providing optimal patient care.

A fun fact about Dr. Collings is that she is a recorded violinist! She had the opportunity to contribute to her friend’s studio album, playing as the backup violinist and performing a few solos. She enjoys drinking coffee, snowboarding, biking, and traveling in her spare time.
