Today, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the calendar year 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.

AAPM&R is reviewing the 2,375 page final rule in detail and will provide updates to members as soon as possible. For more information, check out the CMS Fact sheet here:

AAPM&R strongly opposes the recent LCDs targeting Peripheral Nerve Blocks and Procedures for Chronic Pain.

We are preparing to submit our own comments and collaborating with coalition partners on additional opposition.

We urge all members to join us in submitting their own comments by Nov. 8 by accessing the LCD for their jurisdiction here:
