Our founder spent two weeks exploring Lisbon and Barcelona—studying art, architecture, tile, texture, nature, and the timeless details that make a space unforgettable.

When we asked what inspires her most while traveling, she said:

“The materials. The scale. The patina. But mostly how spaces invite people to connect and slow down. And let’s be real—I never miss an opportunity to find where the locals eat, drink, and decompress.”

At CAM—Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian in Lisbon, our founder experienced Carlos Bunga’s Habitar a Contradição.

Through sculpture and installation, Bunga explores the tension between shelter and identity—how structure can both protect and define us.

This exhibition felt deeply aligned with our work at Hivehouse Co.
