Blacks in America have the highest divorce rate among ethnic groups. I wanted to know if it was the same on a predominantly Black Island like Barbados. So hubby surprised me and we took off to see. After interviewing middle aged males, young and middle aged females, although the answers were very insightful, they were varied. When I asked if Bajan’s had a high divorce rate and everyone said yes, and i followed up with why? I have an opinion, but I’m preparing for a couples cruise in April would love to know my followers opinion. Why do you think the divorce rate is high amongst Black couples. I’ve been married for 46 years and divorce crossed our minds, but we fought to keep our love alive. Looking back, for us it was the best decision we could have made. 💕
