Autistic children may be more prone to unbuckling themselves or attempting to leave their car seats, which poses serious safety concerns. At the same time, the textures, straps, and confined space can cause sensory discomfort.

Here are a few supportive tools and tips that can help:

Try special harnesses for kids who can’t tolerate traditional seats
