Public Health Thank You Day - Celebrating Public Health Heroes!

Every year on the Monday before Thanksgiving, the American Public Health Association (APHA), Research!America, and other leading public health organizations take time to recognize public health professionals who work tirelessly to protect the health of all people and all communities.

This year, the Vermont Public Health Association (VtPHA) is happy to join our partners around the country in saying – Thank You!

Our nation’s ability to live healthier, longer lives rests on our commitment to supporting public health initiatives and the individuals who carry them out.

🙏🙏As a special thank you – starting today and ending the Sunday following Thanksgiving Day, VtPHA is offering a 33% discount on all of our membership levels. At checkout – use Coupon Code 🙏🙏

This discount means that a General Membership will cost just $32.34; a Retiree Membership $16.50, and a Student Membership only $9.90. This discount also applies to our Young Professional, 3-year, and Lifetime Memberships.

The past year has been a trying one for public health champions. Enjoy this week of Thanks-Giving, and please come join us at the Vermont Public Health Association. We are stronger together.

With winter approaching, Vermont health officials are encouraging everyone to take steps to protect themselves, their families, and their communities from flu, COVID-19 and RSV – including getting vaccinated. www.HealthVermont.gov/StayHealthy

Flu and COVID don’t take a holiday. Everyone 6 months and older can protect themselves by getting vaccinated this season. RSV immunizations are available for infants, pregnant people, and older adults. These can reduce your risk of serious illness — and if you do get sick, symptoms may be milder and shorter. Plus, no one has time to be sick. We've got holidays to celebrate!
