How this business was born
Growing up I would always be asked by my parents friends if I could rub their shoulders, they insisted that I was really good at it and it made their pain go away. Flash forward to my 20’s when I have no clue what I want to do with my life and trying to find a pathway for me. I was inspired by a since passed family member Charlene Saucier who I truly looked up to in my life. Her energy was fantastic, she was always happy and super bubbly and always made sure to thank the universe for all the things that came to her in life. Charlene was a reiki master and had always told me that my path in life was to bring joy and healing into lives. One day I was sitting at home and decided to just go for it and sign up for massage school. I started school at Spatech institute in Westbrook, Maine in January of 2018 and instantly fell in love with the work. When i was working on a project for school I had to think of a name for the business and all I could think is that I want to be a place where people can escape from their hectic lives and thus came Great Escapes Massage.
