Justice for Desmond Phillips Desmond Phillips was murdered by police in Chico, CA while in mental health crisis on 3/17/17. We are fighting for Justice for all victims of police violence.

Desmond Phillips was killed by Chico police March 17, 2017. His father called the ambulance to help assist him with his son's mental episode. Desmond suffered head trauma that altered his mental state. Instead of diffusing the situation Chico police tased Desmond and then opened fire on him. Several of the bullets entered the head, neck, and chest of Desmond killing him instantly. They then handcuffed his body and took him to a nearby hospital. The news media and Chico police are stating that he lunged at the police. Eye witnesses say that they tased him and as he fell to the ground they fired their guns and killed him. This page is here to tell the truth, the real story behind Desmond's death. We will be sharing footage of the families' side of the story and the truth of who Desmond really was as a son, brother, and friend.
