WellSpace Health is a proud member of the CA 988 Tribal Taskforce and is dedicated to serving tribes in the Northern California region. The Taskforce is a consortium of tribal health centers and lifeline call centers across the state that collaborates with tribal communities to build and implement culturally inclusive mental health programs and trainings geared toward su***de prevention, and to advocate for statewide initiatives that uplift and support both urban and rural tribal communities across California.

Our 988 Sacramento outreach team has had a busy month, including attending two amazing events to share mental health resources and celebrate culture, connection, and hope. 💛

🎃 Oct. 17 – Trunk or Treat | Sacramento Native American Health Center
Hundreds of families received info on the 988 Lifeline, su***de warning signs, safety planning, and CWRT services for local residents in crisis.

🌼 Oct. 24 – Día de los Mu***os | Communicare+Ole, Woodland
Families learned about the 988 Lifeline (in English & Spanish), the Yolo Mobile Crisis Team, and 24/7 culturally competent counselors. Outreach Lead Maria Ancona created a touching ofrenda honoring those lost to su***de — sparking powerful conversations about prevention and healing. 💐
