Life is funny. Almost 12 years ago my life took a monumental turn. I became a father, embarked on a new career path, made some serious lifestyle changes, and began a journey to truly find my “authentic” self. And beside me at this time was my friend Ryan, seen here next to me. Fast forward 12 years and here I am working with this fantastic crew where it all started. How could it get any better?

Sacramento Recovery House is looking for an individual who is certified or close to being certified to fill a swing shift counselor position starting February 2, 2015. Pay rate $11-$12.50 will depend on experience only individuals with a high level of professionalism need apply. A fellow brother and counselor at the Sacramento Recovery House has passed.

Kevin was a well known figure at the Sacramento Recovery House. As some might say he was a softly spoken giant with a heart of gold. A simple man who was always true to his word and committed to all of those around him especially to his mother who recently passed.

Selfless was just one of the many great attributes that Kevin demonstrated so easily. Kevin took his gift of recovery and devoted himself to going back to school so he could work with others. He returned to Sacramento Recovery House a place of his roots to work as a counselor. Kevin gifted his time, knowledge, love and sincerity to all of the men and the families he helped.
