❄️ Let’s show some love to small businesses ❄️
Winter weather can be tough on everyone, but small businesses are often hit the hardest when things shut down and schedules get disrupted. Many of us rely on steady weeks to keep things moving, and a few snowed-out days can make a big difference.
Let’s use this post to support one another 💙
Drop the name of your small business, a friend’s business, or a local small business you love in the comments. Bonus points if you tag them and share what they do!
Supporting small businesses—especially during slower winter weeks—means more than you know. Let’s help each other stay strong until spring gets here 🌱🐴

Apparently we’re all turning into cartoons now, so I had to jump on the trend 😄
But honestly… this little caricature is pretty spot on. *other than I'm not sure what's going on with some of these body parts 🤣*
By day you’ll find me working hands-on with horses and dogs, helping them move better and feel better. By night (and in between 😅) I’m buried in anatomy books and classes for massage school, learning everything I can to be the best therapist for both animals and people.
This isn’t just a job for me — it’s something I’m constantly studying, practicing, and growing in because your animals deserve skilled, knowledgeable care ❤️🐴🐶

🐴💆‍♀️ If your horse is on stall rest, you don’t want to miss this!
I came across a great article on how equine massage can help support horses during recovery, especially when their movement is limited. It’s full of helpful info for owners who are navigating rest and rehab.

📖 Check it out here:

Let me know what you think, and if you have questions about how massage can support your horse during downtime! 💛

Is your horse on box rest? How can Equine Massage help? It's widely known now that the box rest is not ideal for your horse, both physically and mentally, however it can be a necessary evil. Should your horse become sick or injured and confinement for either a short or extended period of time i

If this groundhog knows what’s good for him… he won’t be seeing his shadow today. 😆🐴
We are officially READY for spring around here — warmer days, green grass, and show season getting closer! The horses (and humans) are over the mud, ice, and frozen fingers.
Come on, spring… we’ve got horses to ride and goals to chase 🌱💪

Ohhh that NC snow hit us hard this time ❄️🐴
I don’t know about y’all, but I am officially in horse-withdrawal mode! I haven’t been able to see my clients in over a week because of all this winter weather, and I MISS everyones horses (and their people) so much 💙
One upside? Snow ponies are pretty cute 😍
If you’ve got pictures of your horses (or any of your animals!) playing, snoozing, or looking offended out in the snow — drop them in the comments! I need my horse fix until I’m back on the road seeing everyone again.
Stay warm, stay safe, and give your horses an extra cuddle from me 🤍

💪🐴 Muscle Monday: Tensor Fasciae Latae (TFL) 🐴💪
Today’s spotlight muscle is the Tensor Fasciae Latae, an important but often overlooked muscle in your horse’s hind end.
📍 What does it do?
The TFL helps with hip flexion and stabilization of the hind limb, and it plays a key role in coordinating forward movement and engagement of the back end.
⭐ Why is it important?
Because this muscle assists in propulsion and balance, tightness here can contribute to:
• Shortened stride behind
• Difficulty engaging the hindquarters
• Reduced performance and collection
• Compensation patterns that can affect the back and stifles
💆‍♀️ How does massage help?
Massage increases circulation, reduces muscle tension, improves flexibility, and helps restore proper movement patterns — allowing your horse to move more freely and comfortably.
Keeping the TFL healthy supports better performance, comfort, and longevity in your equine partner.
