“Time restricted eating” or “intermittent fasting” causes your body to go through several changes, depending on the length of the fast (ok to drink plain or sparkling water, black coffee or black tea only and take prescribed medications). Please check with your healthcare provider before doing an extended fast.

As many of you know, I have adopted this way of eating (“WOE”)in the “IF” (intermittent fasting) community. I’ve added a few tweaks now and then to change things up, as the body tends to get lazy with homeostasis; an occasional detox or a shorter or longer fasting period than my usual daily 20:4 (4 hour eating period after 20 hours of not). The benefits of this WOE are too many to name in this brief post but let me just say it has been life-changing.
