Against all odds, this guy has fought cancer and WON!

Thank you all for the love, support, and prayers throughout this past year. It’s been a rough ride, but he’s handled it with grace, dignity, and determination.

He’ll go back for follow-up scans in December, and then have regularly scheduled scans after that — but for now, we’re celebrating this huge victory!

Disrespectfully… F you, cancer. We pray to NEVER see you again! ✌🏼💪🏼

This is Kade’s very last week of treatment — his final week of radiation! 💪🎗️
We are beyond grateful for how far he’s come and for all the love, prayers, and support our family has felt along the way. Please keep him in your thoughts as he finishes strong this week!

Kade’s orthopedic appointment went great! His doctor was very pleased with his progress and said she would see him in 3 months for his next checkup. Kade will go back to MDA on the 24th to meet with his radiation doctor and schedule his radiation for the spot on his lungs.

Thank you for all your thoughts, texts, and prayers!💛

Last week, Kade’s doctors chose to biopsy a lymph node that looked questionable, just to be safe. This morning, we got the wonderful news that the results came back negative! Tomorrow, Kade will return to MDA for scans and X-rays of his hip and femur, followed by his 6-month post-op visit with the orthopedic surgeon. We should also find out the timeline for his upcoming lung radiation soon.

Please keep those prayers coming—they mean so much! 💛

Kade is headed home from scans at MD! He will do about 2 weeks of radiation on the tiny spot in his lung (1mm). It looks smaller and not active, but they want to be aggressive. They may also biopsy or radiate a lymph node in another area as well, just to be safe. After radiation he’ll start a maintenance plan with regular scans. He’s getting so close to the finish line🎗️

A message from Kade - “Today, I had the honor of ringing the gong to mark the end of my chemo cycle. Up next are scans at the end of this month to see whether the spot on my lung is still there. Depending on how the results look, I may need radiation to make sure everything is gone. I wanted to take this moment to thank everyone who has been checking in on me and praying for me. It means so much to me to have such incredible friends and family surrounding me during this time.”

Kade is heading back to Houston tomorrow for his last 5 day chemo!💛

07/20/2025

Kades latest PET SCAN only shows one spot left on his lungs. It has gotten smaller and is less active. He will have a one day chemo treatment on tomorrow. His last 5 day chemo treatment will be in 2 weeks.

At this time the doctors are discussing what the next steps should be.

It is truly incredible how far Kade has come from the day of his diagnosis to now. 💛

We are so thankful for his medical team at MD Anderson’s as well as all the prayers from this community! Please keep them coming!!🎗️
