It’s December 1, and if you’re a hormonal woman over 50 navigating midlife, this is the month that actually matters. Not January. ✨

We wait for the new year because it feels safer. 💕💕You tell yourself you’ll magically be more disciplined or more motivated when the calendar flips. But that’s not how your brain works. 🧠

Big dramatic changes feel threatening, especially when your nervous system is already stressed, your cortisol is high, and your energy is split between everyone else’s needs. 😵‍💫

That’s why every January starts strong and crashes hard. 💥

Tiny December habits don’t overwhelm your system. They build momentum quietly and consistently.💪💪💪

Ten air squats while your coffee brews. ☕
A five minute walk after dinner. 🚶‍♀️
Protein and fiber added to one meal. 🍳

Small things add up in a way January promises don’t. ✔️

So if you want a different January, start now.⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌺Start doable. Not perfect.
🌺Start tiny. Not dramatic.
🌺Start today, not someday.

If you’re a hormonal woman over 50 navigating midlife and you want support getting through December so January doesn’t feel like another restart, follow for more support. ❤️

And if you want a space to feel supported, ask questions, and learn with other midlife women, the Cool Girl Collective is open. It’s our community for real conversations, live Q&A’s, and coaching to help you feel better in your body and your life. 💗

Fun times? Or stress? 😩

The holiday “magic” hits a little different in midlife.😕 What is the hardest part for you during the holidays?

Everyone talks about cozy and joyful gatherings… but no one talks about the exhaustion, the hot flashes while cooking, the cleaning, the pressure to make everyone happy, the tension you’re managing behind the scenes, and the way you’re trying to hold yourself together while also holding the whole day together.🤪😔😜

⭐️If you’ve ever felt like the holidays take more out of you than they give back, you’re not alone.

Here’s what helps during this season:

🦃Ask for help even if it feels uncomfortable.
You don’t have to be the one-woman production team.

🦃Set boundaries before you hit your limit.
Decide what you’re available for and what you’re not.

🦃Take a break the moment your body whispers, not when it screams.
Go outside. Sit in your room. Breathe.

🦃Release the expectation that you need to make everyone happy.
You’re not responsible for every emotion in the room.

🦃Let “good enough” be the goal.
Your worth isn’t measured by a perfect table or perfectly behaved family members.

The truth is, the holidays can be beautiful, but they can also be heavy.

Give yourself permission to protect your peace this year. You deserve that much.💯🌺❤️

Belly blues…

If you’re in perimenopause or postmenopause and wondering why your midsection feels different, your cravings feel louder, or you don’t feel like yourself anymore, this episode is for you. 💥💥

We think things slow down after the period stops, but for so many women the real changes show up after.🤪

👉I’m sharing the first five things I had to relearn in postmenopause that helped me feel better physically and mentally.

These tips feel simple, but they make a huge difference for inflammation, mood, energy, and the midlife belly that keeps so many of us frustrated.

Part one is all about the physical side. Part two next week will dive into the emotional and mental health side of midlife that we tend to ignore.

If you want support, clarity, or a place to ask real questions, send me a DM with the word COOL and I’ll send you the link to the Cool Girl Collective. It’s an affordable community where you can finally feel understood while you work on your midlife health.

Episode 131 is live now. Follow for more support as you navigate midlife.

Diet harder!!😩😩😩

That’s what our brain says because we are in our 50s and that is what we were taught to do when we gained weight.

⭐️When you keep trying to “diet harder” and nothing changes, it’s not because you’re doing anything wrong.

✨Midlife has its own set of curveballs and your body is responding to hormone shifts, stress, and carrying the weight of everyone else’s needs.

You’re not meant to shrink yourself with restriction. 💯💯You’re meant to feel steady, supported, and in a body that finally feels like yours again.💕

If you’re ready to step into a healthier way of living instead of punishing yourself with old diet rules, you’re in the right place. Follow along for simple, doable support that fits real midlife life.

It’s time to retire the SlimFast cans and the aerobics tapes.🤪🤪

We’re not chasing “skinny” anymore. We’re eating for blood sugar, energy, strength, and feeling good.💯💯

If you’re a hormonal woman over 50 navigating midlife, the rules have changed in the best way.🙌🙌

Your body needs real food, steady meals, solid protein, and fiber so you can keep your cravings steady and your mood even. we all need less mood swings.🤣

✨No more starving yourself.
✨No more pretending coffee is breakfast.
✨No more punishing workouts.

💥💥You get to eat like you mean it now.💥💥

And your midlife body will thank you for it.🙏

I think you know what to do, but don’t know how to get started? I hear you!

If you feel like your motivation retired early and left you with a pile of excuses, you’re not alone.

When you’ve lived through years of diet culture, your body remembers how miserable it felt… so of course you hesitate to start again.😩

But it really can be easier.🥰

💥Here’s what I shared in my video today:

✓ Every time you eat, lead with protein and fiber. Meat, fish, eggs, poultry, fruits, vegetables. Then whatever else. No cutting things out. No negotiating.

✓ Eat when you’re actually hungry. Honoring your hunger cues is how you keep them working.

✓ And the bonus? Stop treating your appetite like the enemy. Hunger is not a problem to fix. If you’re hungry every 2 to 3 hours, your blood sugar may be doing exactly what it should especially if you’re adding that protein and fiber.

If you’re a hormonal woman over 50 navigating midlife, you don’t need more complicated rules. You need simple, doable steps you can actually live with.💯💯💯

For deeper support, DM COOL to join the Cool Girl Collective.

Our collective is a space for you to ask your questions, get coaching and learn everything from midlife health and weight loss tips to how to stop emotional eating to ways to calm the nervous system. 🌺💕🌺

We talk so much about estrogen and progesterone dropping… but there’s one hidden thing that’s holding you back from changing your midsection and feeling good in your midlife body.

As a hormonal woman over 50 navigating midlife, this one hormone keeps sneaking in and running the show. 💥Cortisol.💥

👉And I know that word gets thrown around everywhere, but here’s what it really means for you.
👇👇👇
When you’re constantly busy, caffeinated, stressed, and pushing through your day without rest… your nervous system never gets a break.

Your body never feels safe.
And when your body doesn’t feel safe, it will not let go of weight, no matter how clean you eat or how many steps you take.

Sometimes the weight around your middle is your body’s way of saying it’s overwhelmed and holding on for protection.💕

If you want change, you don’t just need more discipline.
✨✨You need more calm. More rest. More signals of safety.

Your body responds to how you live, not just what you eat.

The snacking and grabbing food is not what you think. 🤔

It’s not because you lack discipline. It’s because you need something.

Craving control over 50? I get it. When your body changes in midlife, the first thing you do is tighten up, restrict, and go back to dieting.

But here’s the truth… dieting is backfiring.💥💥

As a hormonal woman over 50 navigating midlife, every time you diet, you raise cortisol … your stress hormone. That stress tells your body to HOLD ON to fat, not release it. 😩😩

✨✨It slows your metabolism, spikes cravings, and keeps you in a constant cycle of stress, guilt, and exhaustion.

Your body needs to feel safe 👇👇👇nourished, supported, ❤️💕and consistent…NOT deprived or punished.

If this hits home, follow for more support on navigating food, hormones, and emotional eating in midlife.

And if you want a space where other women get it, 🌺DM the word COOL to join the Cool Girl Collective.

Secret battle with food? 🍩🍫🍪

If you’re a hormonal woman navigating midlife, you know what it feels like to have a quiet battle with food that no one else sees.

You keep wondering why you can’t get it “together” even though you’re trying so hard.😕😕

But the truth is that food is rarely the real issue.👈👈
It’s everything happening underneath that your body is trying to cope with.

⭐️Here are some of the reasons you may be turning to food even when you don’t want to:
✨ Hormone changes
✨ Loneliness
✨ Sadness
✨ Stress piling up
✨ Anxiety that feels nonstop
✨ Depression and low mood
✨ Menopause symptoms that shift everything
✨ Emotional overload
✨ Years of over dieting
✨ Feeling disconnected from yourself
✨ Blood sugar swings
✨ Old coping patterns
✨ A nervous system that feels on edge

There is nothing wrong with you. You’re responding to what your body and mind are carrying.💕💕

If you want a safe, supportive place to understand what’s really going on and feel less alone, you’re invited.
