Just because you made it through perimenopause does not mean you’re through the woods.😫

Everyone loves to say postmenopause is smooth sailing. Calm. Easy. Relief.
but if you’re not feeling that way, you are not crazy.💕

If hormones aren’t balanced, you can still feel awful.😕

⭐️Cravings
⭐️Belly weight that won’t budge.
⭐️Anxiety and low mood
⭐️Joint pain.
⭐️Low motivation
⭐️Poor sleep
⭐️That wired but exhausted feeling

Why?

Because estrogen and progesterone are still declining or already gone, and cortisol and insulin resistance often creep up if stress, blood sugar, and lifestyle aren’t supported.

It’s definitely not “just aging.”💯💯

Not gonna do it! And you can’t make me🤣

As a hormonal woman over 50 navigating life, here’s what I’m not doing anymore.👇👇👇

I’m not talking on the phone at night.
If it’s after dinner, my nervous system is clocked out and my brain is already in pajamas.💯💯

I’m not booking plans that start after dark.😂🙌
My best energy is during the day, and I’m done pretending otherwise.

I’m not wearing shoes that hurt.
Not for fashion, not for photos, not for anyone.

I’m not forcing myself to be the “cool girl.”
I don’t want late nights, loud concerts, or pushing through exhaustion just to keep up.😳

What I do want is ⭐️ease.
⭐️Good sleep.
⭐️Peaceful evenings.
⭐️Comfort over performance.
⭐️Energy

It’s so frustrating! 😫

If you’re gaining weight around your midsection in midlife, it’s rarely JUST hormones. It can be so much more.💥

⭐️Yes, hormones matter.
But what we don’t talk about enough are the SYMPTOMS of hormonal shifts.

👉Poor sleep.
👉Higher stress.
👉Low energy.
👉Mood changes.
👉Feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected from yourself.

And those symptoms often lead to emotional eating, stress eating, night eating, or mindless snacking.

👉Not because you lack willpower, but because your nervous system is trying to cope.💕💕💕

If you grew up being the good girl, always saying yes, keeping the peace, and taking care of everyone else first, you already know how this story ends.

You’re exhausted and grabbing whatever sugar or junk you can find just to get a little hit of calm.🧁
