They believe that horses have a unique ability to connect with people and help them to overcome trauma, emotional wounds, and other challenges. They use a variety of equine-assisted therapies, including things like horseback riding, grooming, and groundwork. They also provide educational resources and training for people who want to learn more about this type of therapy. The focus of Spirit Horse International's work is on people who are experiencing a variety of disabilities, both visible and invisible. They work with people who have physical disabilities, like cerebral palsy, as well as people who have emotional challenges, like PTSD and depression.
