Your due date is around the corner and you are wondering how you will cope with pain as your contractions become more intense and more frequent and/or what will you do if your labor becomes challenging, slow and not at all what you had planned for. It has been proven that moving and changing positions during labor will help your body finds ways to feel comfortable and may have many positive benefits during the course of the labor.There are different labor positions that can help you with pain and help your labor progress nicely. Six of these positions could help speed up your labor by allowing your pelvis to change its shape as well as helping your baby to descent in the birth canal.
Practicing these positions with your partner, your doula or any support system could be helpful during pregnancy so that when the time comes, you will be more prepared, but always remember and be prepared that the day you are in labor you could discover new coping techniques that will fit your needs as your labor progress. Listen to your body! You are strong and you’ve got this:)!

Dear pregnant mothers, partners and other support systems,
Caring for others is my passion and something that I love to do, however supporting and caring for pregnant mothers and their partners is something that I have been passionate about for a long time. I will tell you a little bit about my debut as a doula:) My doula work started ironically at the age of 11 years old when I cared for MY pregnant mother, who was pregnant with my little sister. I cared for MY mother until she went to the hospital during her transition phase. I strongly believe that this experience planted the seeds for my future as a Doula. I loved helping my mother then, and I for sure love to support pregnant mothers and their partners now. Being a Doula is so rewarding in so many aspects, so if you are pregnant and you would like extra support, and/or you think your partner would benefit from extra support, I could be the Doula for you. I have the heart of a Doula and I will support the birth you want and the birth that you deserve with exceptional care:)
