Hello! I’ve had quite a few new people find my page and follow so I’d like to do a post telling you a little bit more about me ☺️ I’ll make it bullet points so it’s a little easier to read lol

• my name is Erica!

• I’m 32 years old

• I have several jobs! 😂 some folks describe me as a hard worker. Certified yoga teacher, reformer pilates instructor in-training, Sound Bath practioner, Reiki Master + practioner, front desk worker + marketing manager for Restore Yoga + Pilates. You’ll mostly find me there!

• I love music. My taste is diverse. You’d be surprised to see my liked playlist on Spotify 😅 I also dabble in some DJing with my husband Louie Balk

• Louie The XIII and I have been a couple since 2017, married in 2022, and still going strong ❤️ he’s my rock. Couldn’t imagine life without him!

• The two of us operate OVDJ Productions. He’s mostly the one running the show but I love supporting him as he grows his passion of offering music to our local community.

• I’m very social yet also love being alone. I’m an extroverted introvert I guess?

• I love my indoor house plants.. like a lot 😩🌱🪴

• cooking & baking are enjoyable for me. Not a huge fan of cleaning up.

• prior to becoming a yoga teacher, I worked a corporate job that made me miserable. That experience helped push me in the direction I am now.

• I grew up in church and loved my experience. I’d consider myself more spiritual now but have an unwavering faith in God that uplifts me and gives me a sense of peace.

• Compassion & empathy are some of my greatest strengths. I truly believe that my ability to feel others pain is part of the reason why I do what I do now.

🎉 You're invited to the wonderful world of floating guided meditation & relaxation leading into an amazing sound experience on the warm waters of Four Seasons Pool in Moundsville, WV!

🎵 Here's how it works...

💪 BYOBed: Bring your own twin or full size air mattress (Walmart, Amazon, etc $15-25) Bring your own pump, if possible. We'll have volunteers on hand to help!

💞 No experience needed: Folks who are nervous or not strong swimmers will float the shallow end.

🙌 We'll help safely load everyone onto and off of their floating bed so you can stay cozy & dry!

🥰 Bring a blanket, pillow, and towel, if you like!

🎶 What is a Sound Bath??? Great question!!!…

We're just resting, while soothing sounds of ancient instruments wash over us. You’re welcome to move and stretch a bit before or during.

Most folks get super comfy and settle into a kind of half-nap while our hosts Lindsay & Erica Balk guides meditation and relaxation with a variety of both modern & ancient instruments with specific frequencies, vibrations, and tones scientifically proven to positively affect our body and brain on a cellular level.

This one feels really close to my heart.

I’m holding space for Return to the Heart, a sound bath created as a gentle pause from the noise and the constant doing. A space to soften the nervous system, come back into the body, and reconnect with yourself without effort or expectation

I truly believe we all deserve time that’s just for us.. time to rest, receive, and practice self-love in a way that feels supportive and safe. This offering is my way of honoring that 🫶
