What a fun (and delicious!) day at our community 🍲💛

Our team brought in their best homemade soups for a friendly staff cook-off, and everyone had a great time tasting, voting, and sharing good laughs together.

A big congratulations to our Dietary Supervisor, Brittany, for taking home the win! 👏

We’re excited to host our 2nd annual Soup Cook-Off tomorrow!

Our department heads will be serving up their best homemade soups, and our staff will get to vote for their favorite. Friendly competition, good food, and lots of laughs, it’s one of our favorite ways to bring everyone together.

A big thank you to Sarah from Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, St. Clairsville for providing the bread and crackers to go with all the delicious soups. We appreciate the support!

We’re so grateful to Applebee’s for sponsoring a special lunch in honor of our veterans today. Their generosity brought smiles, stories, and a sense of togetherness to everyone who joined.

It was a wonderful reminder of how much community support means to our residents and team. ❤️

We were proud to host a special Veterans Day lunch at Forest Hills!

Brittany and Chance from our Dietary team served up homemade chili, baked potatoes, cornbread, and blackberry cobbler, the perfect comfort meal to share with those who’ve served.

Here’s to good food, great company, and the brave men and women who protect our freedom.

Before heading home, John shared how much he enjoyed his time here at Forest Hill. He highlighted the wonderful care he received, the great therapy team, and of course, Chase’s amazing cooking! 🍽️

We’re honored to have been part of his recovery and so grateful for the kind words and trust our residents share with us every day.

Pumpkin Decorating Fun at Forest Hills!

Our residents and staff got into the Halloween spirit with a friendly pumpkin decorating contest, and the creativity did not disappoint!

Everyone in the community joined in to vote for their favorite, and our Dietary Team took home the win! Congratulations to all who participated, we loved seeing the smiles, laughter, and festive spirit that filled Forest Hills today. 🎃👻

We had such a spooky-fun time with the community this week! 👻 Haunting at the Amphitheater was such a creative and festive event to be part of. Huge thank you to Mayor Kathy and the City of St. Clairsville for having us!

Sheryl is headed home today, but wanted to leave us with a few kind words about Forest Hills.

From housekeeping to management every department provided excellent care. Sheryl, said she will be recommending our facility to friends and family, especially for any physical therapy needs! Sheryl wanted to highlight Mikala, Casey, Stacey and Tamerra; all nursing staff that " were wonderful and caring women" that made sure she was completely taken care of and made to feel at home during her short rehab stay. Sheryl's final statement before heading home was "This is the place for therapy; the care is excellent; coming here was the best decision I could have made. Thank you all for taking care of me and making it possible to go home!"
