Meet our Founder Aly!
Aly recently graduated with two degrees, one in Marketing and one in Management, with the intention of using her education, creativity, and platform to build something meaningful. From the beginning, she knew she wanted to apply what she had learned to further a nonprofit rooted in purpose, impact, and community.
As a child, Aly was in an abusive situation for years. During that time, dance became her outlet. Movement gave her a sense of safety, confidence, and control when she needed it most. It became a space where she could process emotions, build strength, and feel grounded again.
As she grew older, athletics and dance continued to play a major role in her life. Aly became involved in pageantry not just for competition, but for the opportunity to serve, advocate, and use her voice for something bigger than herself. Through dance, pageants, and community involvement, she saw firsthand how powerful access to movement and athletics can be, especially for children navigating difficult circumstances.
That is why she created The Monthly Move Project.
The Monthly Move Project exists to provide children in poverty with access to athletics, movement, and the confidence that comes from being part of a team and a community. Every child deserves an outlet. Every child deserves a safe space. And every child deserves the opportunity to grow, heal, and thrive through movement.
This nonprofit is deeply personal to Aly. It is built from her experiences, her healing, and her belief that movement can truly change lives. She is incredibly proud of what TMMP has become and excited for what lies ahead💜🩵🧡
