🌟 Thank You, Brenda Yenchus and the Exchange Clube of Southwest Michigan!

The Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan is beyond grateful to the Exchange Club for their incredible generosity! 💙

After sending one quick email letting them know that we had children in need, the Exchange Club immediately stepped up and delivered a huge donation of winter items and food for the families we serve. Their kindness and quick response remind us just how powerful our community can be when we come together for children.

Thank you, Exchange Club, for your unwavering support and for always answering the call to help. Your compassion and dedication make a lasting difference for the children and families in Southwest Michigan. 💛

Governments are paying out billions to settle thousands of claims. There is no substitute for justice, but keeping the abuse from happening in the first place would be far more cost-effective.

🍂🧥❄️ Help Keep Kids Warm This Winter ❄️🧥🍂

School is back in session, and with winter right around the corner, our CAC Care Closet is running low on children’s and teen clothing.

For children and teens, having warm, clean, new and fashionable clothing is about so much more than staying comfortable. It helps them feel confident, safe, and—just as important—like they fit in with their peers at school. No child should feel left out because of the clothes they have to wear.

We are especially in need of:
👕 Teen medium/large sweatshirts
👖 Pants & running pants
👕 Long-sleeve t-shirts
🧥 Other warm, school-appropriate clothing
👟 Children’s shoes and boots

If you would like to help stock our Care Closet, you can:
📦 Drop off donations at the CAC (4938 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, MI.) Appointment only.
🛒 Shop directly from our Amazon Care Closet Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/8YTDVU76VF86?ref_=list_d_wl_lfu_nav_3

We are always in need of basic essentials for families as they navigate the struggles that come with experiencing child abuse. Every donation helps a child feel warm, cared for, and confident. 💙

🌟🏈Annual Celebration Highlight🏈🌟

Congratulations to Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan on receiving one of the Carolyn's Kids Grant awarded last week at our Annual Meeting & Celebration! Pictured are: Sam Craft, Rachel Beall, Stephanie Crider, Allie Kibler-Campbell, Alexis Morris, Jamie Rossow and donor Carolyn Hanson.

Carolyn Hanson started the grant opportunity for nonprofits who are serving some of our youngest residents. This $50,000 grant will help sustain and expand the Children's Advocacy Center's school- and community -based child abuse prevention programming.

Congratulations!!

Help us wish a very Happy 8th Birthday to our amazing Canine Advocate, Pawnee! 🐾

Pawnee brings comfort, calm, and unconditional love to the children and families we serve (AND our staff members!) here at the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan. We are so grateful for all the joy she brings to us.

She even appears on our stickers for kids, reminding them of the important message: “My body belongs to me.”

She deserves all the belly rubs, treats, and snuggles! Happy Birthday, Pawnee!
