Learning is loud, messy, chaotic, and fun. What a fantastic crowd we had today! One little guy even took his very first steps at Play Cafe today🤗. Way to go, Marcelino!!!!

Halloween Idea:
Instead of passing out candy, consider passing out fresh fruit or shelf-stable food items like mac and cheese cups, Ramen, applesauce pouches, juice boxes, small water bottles, granola bars, etc.

We will have a special guest joining us on Wednesday at SMGS from 10:30-11:00 am for our circle time. We will still have our two session play times, but plan on staying a bit longer if you come to session one. Dress for the weather, as we will most likely be outside in the large grassy area BEHIND the pre-k playground (not inside the playground) to accommodate our guest.🤗

Long live playtime and storytime! It was a falltastic time at the Rossville Community Library as we ventured “Into the Woods.” Today we read Belong by Jenna Bates. It’s a humorous and heart warming story with woodland animals trying to guess what creature it is they see sitting in the grass. Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Did you know that rhythm skills support reading development? We clapped and tapped our way through several songs today, plus danced with our autumn-colored scarves. Thank you to our always helpful and energetic library staff and volunteers. What an incredible community to be a part of!
