We have been messaging our state legislators as well as several gun rights groups both here in Minnesota and nationally in regard to support to stop the legislation the cities of Saint Paul and Edina are pushing through.

Both of these laws are in violation of state law, but there is pressure on the governor to have a special session to remove the Preemption Clause from the MN Personal Protection Act, which would allow cities to make laws restricting the kinds of fi****ms you may possess within city limits. These laws tend to disproportionately affect the minority and LGBTQ+ community.

Please if you have the bandwidth message your city council persons as well as your state legislators to voice your opposition to these laws and the removal of protections for all law abiding citizens to exercise their rights.

Outside of Pink Pistols Twin Cities I am now an instructor training for Permit to Carry.

In my mind education is one of the best ways we can expand our membership but also train people in ways to keep them safe.

Now what?
You have been told that you need to practice, that you need to take classes to make you better.

This is where After the Permit to Carry Level 1 come sin.
This class will teach about effective carry options.
Work on de-escalation skills
focus on tactical marksmanship as opposed to competitive marksmanship.
and aq chance to ask questions in a supportive environment with instructors who want you to always walk in peace and avoid problems, but also recognize that even on our best day danger can find us.

Cost is 40.00
Class is 3-4 hours long depending on number of students.
