Because of you, patients navigating IBD find support, underserved communities gain access to education, and critical resources move from idea to impact.

Your time. Your presence. Your heart. That’s what drives this work forward.

Happy Anniversary to us! 🎉 Today, The Stephanie A. Wynn Foundation turns 5!

Five years ago, we started with a mission ensure no one living with Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis navigates their diagnosis alone.

Today, our mission is stronger than ever. Did you know the average wait time from an IBD diagnosis to seeing a specialist is 2–3 months?

Our IBD Patient Navigator® Program was built to change that and it’s working.

🙌🏾What five years of community support made possible:
• 12 Certified IBD Patient Navigators trained
• All 12 are Certified Community Health Workers
• 3 hospital partners referring patients
• $37,500 secured through new funding
mechanisms
• Patient enrollment is NOW OPEN

This March, we’re raising $2,500 to keep this momentum going. A recurring gift of $15/month makes a real difference for patients waiting to be seen.

The patients we’re about to enroll will never know your name but they will feel your impact. 💜

Today, March 16, we celebrate a special milestone as our founder Stephanie A. Wynn turns 50 years old.

As a Crohn’s disease survivor and patient advocate, Stephanie founded the Stephanie A. Wynn Foundation with a vision to ensure that individuals living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis have access to education, support, and navigation resources.

Her journey continues to inspire the work of the foundation as we expand programs that strengthen patient advocacy, health literacy, and access to care within our communities.

If you see Stephanie out in the community today, be sure to wish her a happy birthday.

Four months of training. Real results. Real impact.

Today, the Stephanie A. Wynn Foundation presented at the United Way Suncoast Results 1st Showcase, introducing the IBD Patient Navigator® Program, designed to close the 2–3 month gap between diagnosis and specialist care for individuals living with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

What we’ve built:

✔️ 12 Certified IBD Patient Navigators trained nationwide

✔️ 3 hospital referral partners committed

✔️Additional investment secured to expand program reach

We’re now enrolling our first 20 patients and we need hospital and healthcare organizations, GI physicians, nurse practitioners, and PAs at the table.

If you’re seeing newly diagnosed IBD patients, let’s connect.

Our navigators bridge the gap so your patients arrive prepared.

Today, the world pauses to celebrate women for their strength, resilience, and the barriers they overcome every single day.

But for women living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), especially those from communities that have historically been overlooked in healthcare, every day requires a kind of strength that often goes unseen.

Today, we honor the women who keep showing up for their health, their families, and their futures with courage and grace.

Happy International Women’s Day. 💜

Colorectal cancer risk is higher for people living with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Yet too many patients still struggle to access clear, reliable guidance about screening and prevention, especially in underserved communities.

This is more than awareness.
This is about access.
This is about equity.
This is about lives.

During Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, we must talk about early screening, coordinated care, and empowering patients with knowledge that could save their lives.

No one should navigate IBD or its risks alone.

Join us on March 28th for the 4th Annual Let’s Talk IBD Health & Wellness Symposium , where experts and lived experience come together for real conversations and real solutions.
