An email went out today with a Zoom link for an extra meeting. For this meeting we will be reviewing patient resources. There are some great one out there for information and finances also. I hope you will join us.

Are you self isolating?

Research shows we underestimate how much benefit well get out of engaging in social activities.

Self isolating is not the same as isolation - isolation might be inherent to chronic Illness at times, but that doesn’t mean we have to self isolate - which is influenced by our expectations, our choices and how we think about things. The way we talk to ourselves about and relate to our situation, can be done in ways that help us feel connected or push us further into isolation towards loneliness.

But it doesn’t have to, and this is one of the ways Therapy can help.

For anyone going to the in-person event on Thursday night, please know that the valet parking will be waived for attendees. Please tell the valet that you are attending the Argenyx/Vyvgart event.

The meeting this month will be the Vyvgart Educational Session 10/06 at 630. This will be both virtual and in person. If you did not get the information to register (you must register on that link to get the Zoom link), please reach out to us.

Also, in the monthly email was also information about an educational session about Ultomiris on Oct 7 in person. One session will be at noon in Orlando and another at 7pm in Tampa. Again, the link was included in the monthly email.

And finally, we will be having a “casual conversation” meeting via Zoom on Oct 19 at 7. That link will be sent out later.

Our dear friends,
As this storm approaches we want everyone to know that we know how terribly stressful this is, especially for a MG patient. Please be sure to have cars filled with gas to use for air conditioning and lots of ice on hand. Do not be shy about going to a special needs shelter where there is medical assistance. The most important thing is your health and safety. It will be so good to see everyone 10/06 either in-person or via Zoom. Know you are thought of.
