This is a great reminder that small steps lead to big health wins. National Walking Day encourages us all to move more and sit less—and it couldn’t align better with chiropractic care.

Walking is one of the simplest ways to support your spine and overall wellness. Here’s an easy beginner pattern to follow:
➡️ Inhale for 4 seconds
➡️ Hold for 4 seconds
➡️ Exhale for 6 seconds

Intentional breathing = Nervous system reset.
When stress and anxiety rise, our breath becomes shallow and fast. But when we slow it down—especially through gentle nasal breathing—we signal safety to our nervous system.
Try this simple reset:
✨ Inhale slowly through your nose for 4–5 seconds and hold.
✨ Exhale gently through your nose for 6–7 seconds and hold.
✨ Repeat for 2–3 minutes
Longer exhales activate your body’s calming response, lower your heart rate, and quiet racing thoughts.
Your breath is always with you. It’s free. It’s powerful.
Slow down. Breathe deep. Let your body remember it’s safe. 💙

☀️Daylight saving time can throw off your sleep, mood, and focus. Here are simple ways to adjust faster and feel more like yourself this week:

1. Shift your schedule 15–30 minutes earlier or later for a few days, including meals and workouts.
2. Get morning light within an hour of waking and limit bright light at night. ☀️
3. Keep a consistent wake-up time and avoid sleeping in more than an hour.
4. Use caffeine early and stop 6–8 hours before bed.☕
5. Exercise during the day, but avoid intense workouts close to bedtime.
6. Eat meals at your new local times, especially breakfast.
7. Create a wind-down routine with dim lights and a cool bedroom.
