Hello everyone! Just a reminder that Hero Writers will be at Brewed Awakenings Cafe this Saturday from 11am to 1pm to collect letters. If you donate a letter during this time Brewed Awakenings will give you a coupon for a free drink of your choice. If you want to contribute to the cause don't forget to drop by and give us a letter and enjoy a delicious drink!
Also, Haley and I wanted to take a moment to recognize the overwhelming amount of letter donations we have received recently. A big thank you to everyone who has donated and all of the clubs at Michigan State University that have donated letters. We are very appreciative to have received so many letters to bring to our veterans, especially during this time of the year. Thank you again for all of the support, this wouldn't be possible without the generosity and kindness of all of you. Thank you for keeping the cause alive. :)

Hello everyone!
We will be doing another hospital visit in a few weeks and the more letters we can bring to our veterans the better! A big thanks to everyone who has donated letters so far and have supported the cause, you are what make Hero Writers possible. Keep sending letters, they really do make a veteran's day :)

Hero Writers had their first letter drop off and visit this morning at the VA Hospital! During our visit we distributed about 50 letters to patients and expressed our sincere hope for their fast recovery. This would not have been possible without everyone's support and contributions to the cause, thank you all so much. It was truly amazing to see the letters that were donated bring so many smiles to our veteran's faces. :) We had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people today. Thank you for helping us in our mission to give back one letter at a time. :)

40 letters were donated at the Hero Writers letter writing event this evening in Holmes hall! 40 letters mean a lifetime of support and smiles to 40 amazing men and women who deserve that and so much more. Thank you so much to everyone who came out tonight to contribute their letter donations to a truly humbling cause. This is the beginning of something amazing and we are so proud of the work this charity has set out to do, and will do to give back. Again a big thanks to everyone who took the time to write their words of support. Thank you Chelsea for making the event tonight possible! 40 LETTERS PEOPLE! You might find it difficult at first to write a letter to someone you may not know, but remember they made countless sacrifices so millions of people they never met could live, love, and enjoy life in a free nation. Every donation counts! What an incredible day, thanks again everyone :)

As of 11am today the email on the website has been corrected and is working properly. So if you have sent us a letter already please send it again to the updated email on our website.
