Yesterday was an amazing day at Guiding Light Wellness Center as we officially opened our doors! The youth were full of excitement, energy, and smiles and the best part was hearing how eager they are to come back.

We wrapped up the evening with a healthy meal together and took time to hear their snack requests they definitely had some great ideas 😊 It was the perfect way to end such a special first day.

We’re so grateful for this journey and can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

At The Guiding Light Wellness Center, we believe that nourishing meals are an important part of supporting the whole child.

Our Therapeutic Afterschool Program provides daily snacks and well-balanced dinners to keep youth energized, focused, and cared for throughout the evening. From family favorites like spaghetti and chicken tenders to comforting meals like grilled cheese and tomato soup, we’ve created a menu kids will enjoy!
