We offer no-cost therapies and various paid research opportunities for service members.

We recently launched two new studies and are interested in video chatting for 1-2 appointments with active-duty members of the U.S. military. Both studies will pay over $300 to any participant who completes all surveys and follow-ups.

Eligibility for each study varies and you do not have to be struggling with mental health yourself to qualify. By participating in our programs, you are helping to make psychological treatments for service members, veterans, first responders, and family members better, faster, and stronger.

Find out if you qualify for either study by using the following links. Please note that both studies use the same 5-minute screening questionnaire, so if you are interested in both, you only need to fill out one and you will automatically be considered for the other.

STRIVE at The Ohio State University is currently enrolling current and former US military personnel into a paid mental health treatment study to compare the effectiveness of two psychological (non-medication) treatments to reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors. We hope the results will tell us if one of the treatments works better than the other for military personnel and veterans with recent suicidal ideation and suicidal behaviors.

To learn more and see if you might be eligible for this study, contact us at STRIVE@osumc.edu.

Study details:
